It was quite enjoyable to them and they read more than they often do in books. The Egyptology book was snapped up by my students and they loved it. The big eye was really interesting to them. This is a great book for kids who enjoy interactive creative reads. The extras are always nice to accompany these books.

I bought this for my daughter and she became bored quickly due to the confusing way the pages were written and presented. There weren't as many exciting extras in this one as I expected and the "mummy cloth" example was a bit disappointing. I am hoping the next Ology I choose will be more like the first two I have. I was actually disappointed in this Ology book. I have two others and the way the information is presented in them plus the little extras were just better in those.

:D There are many wonderful pull outs and the budding archaeologist in our family loved it. My sister loved this book. It is beautifully drawn, illustrated, and written.
